Therapy items for vulnerable children

This child’s brother has severe ADHD and a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, her mother and adult half sister (who also lives in the home) have both experienced and witnessed domestic abuse perpetrated by her father (pushing, slapping, locking in rooms), who left the family shortly after her birth. The family of four live in a two bedroom flat and the mother is receiving universal credit/tax credits. This child helps with day to day care of her brother, managing his behaviour while balancing school work. Her mother, who suffers with mobility problems, sleeps during the day in the living room due to working night shifts and the lack of space in the home. This child’s brother finds it difficult to regulate his emotions and routinely injures his family members and damagers furniture and throws objects when disregulated, often harming this child.
