Helping to make a safe space

Our funding has provided bedroom furniture for two children currently living in a refuge to help create a safe, special place for them.

Since arriving at the refuge, the family has gained some stability and are feeling a lot more safe and secure in a life free from abuse. They are safely settled at school, and feel comfortable sharing when they feel triggered to their teachers. The children are still both processing their trauma.
